The next step to the perfect forage

Site-specific application maps for wilted silage

Predict wilting behavior and fully automated target maps in ISOBUS format – for more homogeneous dry matter across all fields.

Our approach

How we help you

When promoting wilted silage, harvesting with optimal dry matter is essential. Growth conditions are not homogeneous across the field – stock differences lead to fluctuating wilting rates and dry matter content. Through years of data analysis and field trials, we can predict wilting behavior on a site-specific basis. Our application creates fully automated target maps in ISOBUS format so drying intensity can be adjusted for each area.

Why ConGra

The advantages at a glance

  • Higher energy yield from the field
  • Higher feed intake → more performance from basic feed
  • Smaller deviations in nutrient composition
  • Lower crumbling losses in the field
  • Lower fuel consumption – intensive processing only where needed
  • Better environmental balance through surface and energy efficiency

From the field

See that it works

Data from grassland areas: dry matter measurement points from the forage harvester NIR sensor. The area was mown with a constant conditioner setting. Background tiles represent the target map our application would provide – ideally adapted to different drying processes.

Conditioning or tedding – a solution for both

Conditioner map

Fully automated application map for the conditioner, controlled site-specifically via ISOBUS. The Fendt Slicer conditioner is the only mower conditioner on the market with section-specific control.

How it works

Workflow & data flow

It's that easy to use

  1. Create a measure in your ISO-XML capable farm management software (FMIS)

  2. Send the generated TASKDATA.XML to MoistureManager

  3. MoistureManager generates target maps fully automatically

  4. Transfer maps online or download to storage medium
